The stone harvester is designed to work on light and medium soils with humidity up to 30%.

The size of stones to be removed can vary from 45 to 200 mm.   

 

Working principle

 

The YAR 1500 stone harvester is a semi-trailed machine coupled with 1.4 class tractors.  

  

 The main parts of the stone harvester are:

 

hitch (1), stubber (2) with knife (3), hopper (4), bar elevator (5), hopper hydraulic cylinder (6), stubber hydraulic cylinder (7), telescopic PTO shaft (8), PTO shaft to the tractor PTO (9), gearbox (10), shaft with clutch (11), plunger regulator (12), axle with wheels (13), stone stopper (14), plunger ruler (15).

 

The process of clearing the soil from stones and debris consists in undercutting and sifting of the upper layers of the earth, as well as collecting stones, with their subsequent removal outside the cultivated area. The layer of earth cut by the stubber knife (2) is fed to the bar elevator (5). The depth of undercutting can be adjusted from 0 to 280 mm using the hydraulic cylinders of the plough (7). During the transition to the elevator the layer is crumbled due to the difference between the forward speed of the tractor and the speed of the elevator. The soil coming to the elevator is sifted through the gaps between the bars (to speed up the sifting process the working branch of the bar elevator has vertical elliptical shakers), and the stones remaining after sifting go to the accumulation hopper (4). The hopper filled with sifted stones is unloaded outside the field by opening the flap with the help of hydraulic cylinders (6).
